registered charity
We are pleased to announce that The Charity Commission for England and Wales has officially recognised The Cycle Coach as a charity and has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1190302.
The Charity Commissions were satisfied that in relation to our pledge to public benefit and charitable purposes, we met the necessary criteria. The decision was made to register The Cycle Coach as a charity based on the information we provided.
Here at The Cycle Coach we have two main aims to benefit the public:
- To promote cycling at a grassroots level and make it accessible and affordable to cross community groups, underprivileged children and the wider general public.
- To introduce children and young people to the fundamentals of cycling in a safe, fun, traffic free environment.
Our Cross-Community Group is designed to bring individuals from different cultures, faiths, backgrounds and ideals together. In addition to uniting sections – and cross sections – of the community that may not normally interact. The Cycle Coach will try to enhance and cement relationships between these very different parts of society through play, learning and developing their cycling.
The Community
We welcome all abilities from those ‘learning to cycle for the first time’ to those wishing to progress themselves further, either into developing into a more advanced standard, or those who want to explore competitive cycling. We have a program to suit everyone. Our team of qualified and endorsed coaches are ready to help and support you through your development.

Amongst several key commitments to the SFDC we have agreed to actively demonstrate, and advocate for the intentional use of sport and/or physical activity to generate positive social outcomes.
