How to earn the white jersey award

The Cycle Coach is offering the opportunity for your child to progressively improve their riding by enrolling onto The Cycle Coach Awards.

There are 4 awards which can be achieved, with each award delivering:

  • Bike Handling Techniques
  • Core Cycling Techniques
  • Group Riding Techniques

Each award will be delivered over 6 weeks and limited to 16 riders per class. Upon successfully completing the syllabus and achieving all competencies each rider will receive The Cycle Coach Award for the respective jersey. Upon enrolling, parents will receive The Cycle Coach Rider Handbook so you can monitor your child’s progress and follow the syllabus.

Starting on Saturday 25th April at 14:10PM at Teddington Sports Centre, the first White Jersey Award will be launched. The award will run for six consecutive Saturdays before breaking for half term.

The White Jersey is a prerequisite for enrolling onto the Green Jersey Award which will be introduced to the timetable after summer half term.

The Cycle Coach Awards are a structured and fun way to improve your child’s riding skills. They are also designed to improve your child’s confidence on a bike as well as reward them with a Cycle Coach Certificate and Medal upon completion for their hard work!
